Biography
Stuart Biddlecombe is an award-winning Director of Photography of television drama, feature films and commercials. Stuart has been nominated for two BAFTA Cymru awards, winning for his work on the noir crime drama, Hidden in 2018.
He was also nominated for two Royal Television Society awards for his work on Hidden (BBC Wales), Hinterland (BBC Wales/All3Media) and nominated for an ASC award for season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale.
Stuart has worked on a wide range of productions, most notably Sherlock (BBC) starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, Doctor Who (BBC) starring Jodie Whittaker and Peter Capaldi, Devil’s Hour (Amazon) starring Peter Capaldi and Jessica Raine and his current production, The Handmaid's Tale (Hulu) starring Elizabeth Moss and The Veil (FX) also starring Elisabeth Moss.
