Stuart Biddlecombe is an award-winning Director of Photography, specializing in television drama, feature films, and commercials. He has been nominated for two BAFTA Cymru awards, winning in 2018 for his work on the crime drama Hidden.

In addition, he has received two Royal Television Society nominations for his work on Hidden (BBC) and Hinterland (BBC), as well as an ASC nomination for his cinematography in Season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu).

Stuart has worked on a wide range of high-profile productions, including Sherlock (BBC) with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, Doctor Who (BBC) starring Peter Capaldi, Devil’s Hour (Amazon) with Peter Capaldi and Jessica Raine, The Handmaid’s Tale starring Elisabeth Moss, and The Veil (FX), also starring Elisabeth Moss.

Most recently, he completed work on the feature film Mr. Burton, starring Toby Jones, and is currently filming the finale of The Handmaid’s Tale..
